Stoney Creek High School sports teams are invited to partner with the first annual Healthy Home & Living ExpoIn return for active promotion and event-day participation, the expo offers significant fundraising opportunities, including net proceeds of referred on-line ticket and t-shirt sales, as well as associated special donations. The event can also host recognition, meeting, outreach and additional fundraising programs. Participating is fun and as easy as 1, 2, 3:

1. Register 

Register as an Expo exhibitor to get listed on the Event website: 

Select the "School Group Partner" level (free). Skip any irrelevant fields. Enter a short team description and fundraising purpose/goal under "Products/Services". Enter any special fundraising and programs event-day activities/programs under "Show Specials". You will have a 10'x10' exhibit space (hallway spaces are 8'x8'), folding chair(s), event website listings, and optionally a 6' or 8' table and electric service. Exhibiting is free; any charges incurred during registration will be adjusted.

Register as an Eventbrite affiliate to get your referral link and set up your account:

Eventbrite.com is the website that will be used for on-line ticketing and t-shirt sales, and for on-line donations. Upon receipt of your exhibitor registration, an email invitation to the Eventbrite affiliate program will be sent to you. Follow the instructions to get a unique affiliate link that should be included in all your promotions. The link will direct ticket purchasers to the event ticketing webpage and will track your referrals. You will also set up an Eventbrite account to provide payment/bank information, access promotional resources, and get sales reporting and referral accounting.   

2. Promote the Expo

Active promotion should include posting in all available team, department, school and district digital communications preceding the event, including emails, newsletters, websites, flyer distribution and announcements. Remember to link images to your affiliate URL or www.HHLE.info (where team selection is provided/confirmed) for ticket purchase. The following resources are available:

  • Web Ad 300x250p (jpg)
In addition, posting and distribution of printed materials at school, meetings and games should be conducted whenever possible. The following artwork can be printed, or materials can be ordered at promo@migreenteam.com and picked-up at SCHS.
 
  • 8.5"x11" Print Flyer (pdf)
  • 3.75"x4.85" Print Postcards, 4 per sheet (pdf, requires cutting)
  • 11"x17" poster (available by order)

Finally, social media and personal invitations and announcements can be sent by players, parents and supporters to their community, neighborhood and school group members, and to friends on Facebook. See the Invite webpage for instructions. Word of mouth is always the best advertising!     

3. Participate at the Event

Volunteers should be scheduled to set-up and staff the team exhibit table, and to conduct any programs that are planned outside of the exhibit space, which should be coordinated with the event manager, John Batdorf john@migreenteam.com. One volunteer should be scheduled to help with event staffing and register with the event manager at www.migreenteam.com/volunteer.

Event Partnership Agreement

Participation in this event partnership is covered by an agreement made between MI Green Team L3C and Stoney Creek High School Athletics. A copy of the agreement will be emailed to you upon registration, and is available upon request to john@migreenteam.com.

Payment for exhibitor fees, and any optional items, can be made on-line or by check to MI Green Team, 860 Oakwood #208, Rochester, MI 48307.

Upon receipt of payment, your reservation/registration will be confirmed, your exhibit listing published on-line, and your annual MGT membership renewed.
