25 by 25 Kickoff Meeting!

Right now over 60% of Michigan’s energy comes from dirty, coal-fired power plants. These plants emit soot and smog, causing everything from asthma, to heart disease, to cancer. Moreover, we’re spending over a billion dollars every year to import this coal from out of state.

It’s time to build a clean energy economy here in Michigan that protects Michigan families and provides in-state jobs. This fall, we have the chance to make this vision a reality with the 25 by 25 ballot initiative.

The 25 by 25 ballot initiative will bring Michigan to 25% renewable electricity by 2025. If passed, the 25 by 25 ballot initiative will clean up our air and water, improve our state’s public health, and bring an estimated 94,000 new job to Michigan.

Michiganders will be voting on this initiative in November and we need your help to make sure that it passes.
